Dr Oz’s show called 5 Steps To Conquering Your 40+ Belly included a Fat Burning Noodle Pudding Recipe! Noodle Pudding, or as my mom would call it – Noodle Kugel, is such a delicious dish, but usually it is full of fat and calories. But leave it to Doctor Oz to find someone who can re-work a classic Noodle Pudding Recipe into a Fat Burning Noodle Pudding Recipe! Here is how you do it:
Dr Oz’s Noodle Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
8 cups cooked whole wheat fettuccini or macaroni
4 cups low-fat Greek yogurt
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 tsp cinnamon, plus more for garnish
Pinch of salt
1 cup mixed dried fruit, chopped
Optional: 3 tablespoons of shelled, chopped pistachios garnish
Dr Oz: Fat Burning Noodle Pudding Recipe
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease a casserole dish so that your Noodle Pudding won’t stick. Dr Oz suggested using a 2 quart casserole dish, but you could use other dishes if you do not have one.
3. Mix together the salt, cinnamon, eggs, vanilla and yogurt.
4. Mix in the 3/4 cup of dried fruit along with all of the noodles.
5. Once everything is well combined, pour it into your greased baking dish.
6. Sprinkle the extra 1/4 of dried fruit on top of the Noodle Pudding.
7. Bake the Noodle Pudding for 30 minutes.
8. Before you serve the Noodle Pudding, sprinkle the top with some extra cinnamon.

I saw the show today about the 5-step belly fat plan and looked at the recipe for the breakfast noodle pudding. After examining it a few times, I don’t see the number of servings the recipe makes and how much should be in 1 serving. Please reply with these 2 numbers.
Thanks!

I seems like I would like the Noodle Pudding Recipe, but I’m interested in how many this recipe serves and what the calories (nutrition content) are.

Is there nutritional information for this recipe? It sounds great!

This Fat Burning Noodle Pudding is the worst tasting stuff I’ve ever had! I had to throw it out! I can only assume there’s something wrong with the recipe?
First, 8 cups of cooked pasta is too much to put in a 2 quart casserole, says any type whole grain macaroni, I used elbows, I needed a 12×9 casserole dish! Is this correct amount of macaroni or is casserole dish the wrong size?
Second, I used plain Chobani yogurt, it gave no taste at all! Should I have used flavored Greek yogurt? If so then the recipe should have said so!
Third, I made this exactly according to the recipe, it cost close to $10.00, I think you should tell me what’s wrong with the recipe and refund money so I may try it again.
With all due respect, thank-you, Pat

I just made this for the first time. It is good, but there is a very sour undertone to it so I am not sure if I like or not. I ate it warm. I made it with fat free greek yogurt, and dried cranberries, which I love.
I am going to get it cold and try it, see if it is better. I warn you, you MUST like cinnamon, as the cinnamon is very, very strong!
I am full, and if it does burn fat, I can eat it, but it isn’t something I would rave over.

Although this recipe is of course a healthier version of traditional noodle pudding, there really is nothing in it that will “burn” your fat. As with any other pasta dish, whole wheat or not, if you eat too much of this, you will gain fat rather than lose it. Also, I found this dish very bitter and bland, so make sure to add a reasonable amount of stevia or other permissible sweetener to it so you can actually enjoy it as a healthier dessert option.
