Directions:
1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
2. Mix together the beef, bacon bits and onion in a bowl until it is well combined.
3. Make a beef patty that is around 1/2 inch bigger in diameter than your hamburger bun.
4. Sprinkle a touch of salt on each side of the burger.
5. Grill the burger for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the burger is cooked as well as you like it. Remember to never, ever, squish the burger down while it is cooking on the grill.
6. A minute before the burger is finished cooking, place the hamburger buns (insides down) on the grill to toast them.
7. Add a slice of cheese on top of the burger so that it can melt (15-30 seconds should do it!).
8. Make your burger and include lettuce and tomato slices. You can use ketchup or bbq sauce if desired.
