The Doctors TV Show brought Alicia Silverstone, actress and author of The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet, on their show to talk about her Vegan Diet that has made her healthy and feel great. One of the recipes that Silverstone brought on The Drs TV Show was her Toasted Nori Burritos. There are so many carbs and wasted calories in wraps, so what a brilliant idea to replace a burrito wrap with a sheet of toasted nori or seaweed!

The Drs TV Show: Toasted Nori Burrito Recipe

Ingredients:
1 umeboshi plum (a Japanese pickled plum)
1 cup cooked brown rice
2 sheets toasted nori (seaweed)
2 romaine lettuce leaves
1 avocado, sliced
1 apple, sliced
4 fresh basil leaves
Leaves from 6 cilantro sprigs
Leftover cooked kale or salad greens

The Doctors: Alicia Silverstone Nori Burrito Recipe

Directions:

1.  Tear the umeboshi plums into small pieces and throw away the pit.

2.  Scoop out half of the rice and put it on top of a sheet of toasted nori.

3.  Pile on the rest of the ingredients.

4.  Roll the nori into a cone-like shape and enjoy!
