Dr Oz brought Big Daddy Aaron McCargo Jr, from the Food Network, onto his TV Show today to teach everyone how to make a healthy pizza recipe.  When most of us think of pizza, we think of something that will break our diet because of all of the fat in normal pizza that is covered in cheese, sausage and pepperoni.  But Big Daddy taught Doctor Oz how to make a delicious and healthy Taco Chicken Pizza Recipe.  Here is how to do it:

Dr Oz: Taco Chicken Pizza Recipe


2 to 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1/4 cup taco blend

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 lb store-bought whole wheat pizza dough

1 cup low-fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup 1% or low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup zesty guacamole

1 cup chipotle salsa

1/2 cup fat-free sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1.  Pound out the chicken breasts until they are thin.

2.  Sprinkle 3 TB of the taco seasoning on top of one side of the chicken breast and brush it with some olive oil.

3.  Place the seasoned side of the chicken down on a grill (either an inside grill or an outside grill).

4.  Brush the other side of the chicken with some olive oil and top with some more taco seasoning.

5.  Cook the chicken until it is cooked all the way through, which should be around 3 minutes per side.

6.  Take the chicken off of the grill and let it cool down before cutting it into cubes or strips.

7.  Cut your ball of pizza dough into four pieces and roll each piece out on a lightly floured surface.

8.  Put a little olive oil and taco seasoning on top of the rolled out pizza dough.

9.  Cook the pizza dough on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side, or you can cook it in the oven as well.

10.  While the dough is on the grill, top it with the cheese and chicken.

11.  Cover the grill so that the cheese melts.

12.  Serve with cilantro, salsa and guacamole!
