To make the tangerine weight-orade drink, simply follows the directions below:

  • 8 cups of brewed green tea
  • 1 tangerine, sliced
  • A handful of mint leaves

Stir everything together in a large pitcher and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.

Dr. Oz has a lot of weight loss drinks that are going to help anyone shed some extra pounds, but one of his best recipes for getting rid of extra weight is his sinless watermelon split.

Simply split two bananas and top with three scoops of watermelon, which is rich in water-content. The watermelon keeps you feeling full and also contains arginine, an amino acid that helps your body naturally burn calories. Next, add a dollop of yogurt which studies have shown calcium and milk fat in the yogurt may reduce fat absorption from other foods. Top everything with a cup of blueberries because they are rich in polyphenols. Blueberries will also help prevent fat tissue from forming in the body.  Sprinkle with low-fat granola and chocolate chips, which will give you whole-grain fiber and caffeine, an appetite suppressant.

If you are less of a green tea drinker or do not like watermelon too much, Dr. Oz also came up with a cocktail containing tangerines, apple juice, pineapple juice and more.

Like the recipes above, this recipe is filled with nutrients that are going to help you lose weight and feel healthy. Some of the ingredients include basil, which has been shown to lower blood pressure, and tangerine, which is full of vitamin C.

To make the drink simply mix the ingredients below, add ice, shake vigorously and garnish with the basil leaves.

  • 2 large leaves of basil
  • 1 1/4 oz of beet juice
  • 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz apple juice
  • 3 oz tangerine
