The Doctors TV Show spoke about the dangers of using Melatonin Supplements. So instead, they suggested you try something natural to help you sleep. They spoke with Dr Michael Breus who shared the following “Sleepy Smoothie Recipe.”
The Doctors: Sleep Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 cup tart cherry juice
• 1/2 banana
• 1/2 cup soy milk or 4-6 ounces soy yogurt
(*If using soy yogurt, add an additional 1/2 cup fat-free milk)
• 5 ice cubes
• 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Mix together the cherry juice, soy milk, banana, vanilla and ice in a blender.
2. Blend until completely smooth.
Option: Instead of soy milk, you can use soy yogurt along with fat-free milk.
