Dr Oz: Sleep Doctor Smoothie Recipe: Sleep Yourself Thin

Dr Oz did a segment with Dr Michael Breus, author of The Sleep Doctor’s Diet Plan: Lose Weight through Better Sleep,to talk about how to Sleep Yourself Thin.  The latest research has found that you can lose more weight just by getting more sleep.  In fact, Doctor Oz said that if you get an extra hour of sleep every night, you could lose up to 14 pounds in a year – and this is without making any other changes to your diet or exercise!  Dr Breus told Dr oz that the following Sleep Doctor Smoothie Recipe is full of ingredients that will help you to get a good night’s sleep.

Dr Oz: Dr Michael Breus Sleep Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup tart cherry juice (I love this brand: Tart Cherry Juice)
1/2 banana
1/2 cup soy milk or 4-6 oz soy yogurt (if using soy yogurt, add an additional 1/2 cup fat-free milk)
5 ice cubes
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions:
