Billy Germanakos’ Breakfast Brownie Pancake Recipe on Dr. Oz
Doctor Oz had Billy Germanakos (Billy G) on his show from The Biggest Loser television show. Billy G gave a few great recipes including these healthy breakfast brownies made of Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese), egg whites, oatmeal, cocoa powder and fruit. I am tempted to think that Greek yogurt will taste better than cottage cheese, though maybe I will be surprised. Also, I will use Splenda or Agave Nectar as the sweetener.

Billy Germanakos’ Recipe for Breakfast Brownie Pancakes from The Doctor Oz Show
Ingredients:
- 1 container (5.3 ounces) non-fat Greek yogurt or non-fat cottage cheese
- 6 egg whites
- 2/3 cup old-fashion oatmeal
- a touch of artificial sweetener such as Splenda or Agave Nectar
- 1 TB unsweetened cocoa powder
- fruit such as 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 banana etc. (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix the yogurt or cottage cheese and egg whites in a bowl.
2. Add the mixture and artificial sweetener (like Splenda or Agave Nectar) to 2/3 cup of plain oatmeal.
3. Let the mixture sit for several minutes.
4. Cook the pancake batter over medium heat in a non-stick frying pan with cooking spray.
