What is Truvia which is in the cookie recipe?

Truvia is listed in the cookie recipe. What is it?

@E Kamen – Truvia is a natural sweetener. You can read more about it and buy it here: Truvia Natural Sweetener

I’ve been on the diet for 21 days and have lost 10 lbs. Hooray! I made these delicious cookies today and WOW! They are so good.

Did you realize that cinnamon is listed in the ingredients but is not in the instructions. I added it with the other dry ingredients and it worked out fine. I also have the book and it is left out there as well.

  • Can you subsitute in equal for the Truvia Natural sweetener

  • 128 calories !!! That makes this recipe MUCH less impressive.

Still… healtier ingredients for the most part… might try it out, but will have to find a substitute for the Truvia.

Need to be a banker to be able to afford the ingredients. If you can find them

Find a replace the agave nectar instead it very bad for you!
and replace truvia with Whey Low or erythritol or xylitol all these wont raise your blood sugar. Truvia tastes bad. Whey Low tastes like sugar.

Also try almond flour instead of wheat and you can use flax meal to replace the egg if you’re vegan.

agave nectar is not a “natural sweetener.” Plus, it has more concentrated fructose in it than high fructose corn syrup.

Agave Nectar Is Not A Natural Sweetener do your research!!

I have to agree with how expensive some of the ingredients are and hard to find. I would like a suggestion for a replacement for the almond paste. It is hard to find, expensive and very hard to incorporate in the mixture. I don’t know how important this ingredient is to the end result. I like the cookies and make them often, but wish substitutes could be suggested.
