Dr Oz Tangerine Weight-Orade Drink Recipe

Dr Oz’s Diets For Every Decade show included a couple of great recipes.  One recipe is the Doctor Oz Tangerine Weight-Orade Drink Recipe, which is a great Metabolism Boosting Drink for men and women in their 30’s, though it seems like it would be a great addition to an adult diet at just about any age.  Why does this drink boost your metabolism?  Well, green tea alone is said to boost your metabolism by 12%.  In addition, tangerine helps to trigger a gene that burns fat in your body.  And the mint is a great way to add flavor to your drink without adding any calories.

Dr Oz: Tangerine Weight-Orade Recipe

Ingredients:

– 8 cups of green tea, brewed

– 1 tangerine, sliced

– handful of mint leaves

Directions:

1.  Mix all of the ingredients together in a large pitcher the night before.  This helps the flavors to marry.

2.  After sitting in the fridge over night, drink the entire pitcher the next day to get the most metabolism boosting out of Dr Oz’s Tangerine Weight-Orade Drink Recipe!

    I can’t find tangerines at this time of year. Is there a substitution for tangerines that will work as well? Also, what kind of mint do you use? When I say it on TV it looked big and bushy and I can’t find mint that looks like that.
