When some people mention the Fat Burning Diet, they are speaking about the diet where you alternate between eating high levels of carbohydrate one day and low levels of carbohydrate the next day, which would definitely not be one of our Weight Loss Tips. This is not what Recipe For Diets means when we say Fat Burning Diet! We do not focus on fad diets that cause you to go through a yo-yo diet stage. Our idea of a Fat Burning Diet is in fact a diet which burns fat. In order to burn the most fat, you need to burn more fat and calories than you take in, it is that simple. There are some foods that speed up your metabolism and allow your body to burn the most fat, such as citrus fruits (oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruits, etc.), soybeans, apples, berries (fresh fruit in general), and garlic.
Weight Loss Tip #2: The Celebrity Diet
At Recipes for Diets, we do not believe in The Celebrity Diet. So one of our Weight Loss Tips is to skip The Celebrity Diet or any temptations to look for a quick fix. Hollywood’s only weight loss secret is that they airbrush photos and change photos so that celebrities look flawless.
Weight Loss Tip #3: 1000 Calorie Diet
Another no-no are things like the 1000 Calorie Diet. First of all, no adult should be eating only 1000 calories a day unless their doctor specifically tells them to, because that will just put your body into starvation mode, which should never be on anyone’s list of Weight Loss Tips. In fact, the reason we pick on the 1000 Calorie Diet, is because we do not believe in counting calories at all. Who has time to count calories? Maybe you will be able to stick with calorie counting for the first week, month or even six months, but it is not sustainable for the rest of your life. And the Recipes for Diets way is to get into a healthy lifestyle that you can maintain for the rest of your life.
Weight Loss Tip #4: Exercise
You have heard it before, and you will hear it again – to lose weight (and more importantly, to be healthy), you must exercise! The goal should be to get your heartbeat up and to break a sweat for at least 30 minutes, at least 3 times a week. In addition to cardio exercise, it will help you immensely to walk at least 10,000 steps a day to fulfill #4 of the Weight Loss Tips list. How do you know if you walk 10,000 steps a day? There is a brilliant device called a Pedometer that will actually count how many steps you take throughout the day. It makes getting in your 10,000 steps very easy and like a fun game. Weight Loss Tip #5: The Power of Water
Your body is made up of 61.8% water, so you can see where this is going as part of a Weight Loss Tips list! Water is extremely important to being healthy and for weight loss. Drink water. Drink it in the morning, afternoon, evening, and in-between! If you drink a glass of water before you eat, you will naturally eat less because you will feel full faster since the water will fill your stomach. Also, water helps to cleanse your system and will significantly help you on your diet and weight loss plan.
